Resistor Wire for a Generator Bulb Circuit Modification on Bosch Charging Systems.

In the event that the original instrument cluster is removed, or the light bulb in the cluster is broken or burnt out, then this modification can be installed and will enable the Bosch Alternator to continue producing electricity to keep your battery charged.

WARNING: The incorrect installation of this alternator modification can cause damage to the printed instrument wiring connection board, reduce reliability, or cause a short circuit under the gas tank. This modification may not work if there is a failure in your wiring circuit depending on where you install the resistor. Wiring failures often occur at the point of connection from the lamp to the printed wiring circuit. Our resistor modification should not be installed across the GEN lamp socket wiring itself. Installing it on the GEN lamp socket is risky because the printed circuit material is very fragile and is easily damaged.
