Products description
Power Lima Plus for /5 and /6 up to July 1976 with 105mm stator mount in the wheel housing cover.
(It may be necessary to shim the carbon brush plate during installation).
The alternator is operated with the original rotor and the unit consists of:
-28 A winding which is installed in the original housing
-regulator/rectifier unit (simple installation instead of the diode plate -regulator omitted-)
-rotor/armature
The maximum output of 350W is fully sufficient in normal operation, even with high beam and heated grips.
The following values were measured for the test alternator on a Bosch alternator test bench:
-1100 rpm Charging start from the charging control
-1500 rpm 13 V 5 A
-1800 rpm 13.5 V 6 A
-5300 rpm 13.5V Maximum power reached 26 A with half-full battery
Not suitable for pinned /5 alternator!
