RACE-LINE connecting rods G IV 2 pc.
RACE-LINE asymetrical H-connecting rods are manufactured from 36CrNiMo4 forged , tempered to 1150 -1300 N/mm2 and are fitted with bolts with a tensile strength of between 1200 and 1400 N/mm2.
The new generation of RACE-LINE connecting rods were fully CAD designed specifically for the 2V boxer.
The main advantage of these connecting rods are their light weight and high strength.
G IV asymetrical H-connecting rods can be fitted to ALL Airhead crankshafts WITH AND WITHOUT balancing weights.
The lenght of the conrods is like original BMW. The gauge for the bore holes is 135mm.
Race-Line-IV asymetrical H - connecting rod approx. 450g.
Standard connecting rod approx. 600g.
